7:Join us on the First Saturday of each month in McGovern Hall for First Saturdays with the Saints. Talks will last approximately 30 minutes with time for questions and will take place immediately following First Saturday Devotions at Assumption Church in Bellevue. Guest speakers will present the stories of Christian saints: who were they, what did they do and why do they matter for Christianity today?
Light refreshments and coffee will be served.For the upcoming schedule and bios of the presenters see below.
MARCH 7: St. Faustina, presented by Sr. Marie Therese
APRIL: First Saturday is Holy Saturday, so there will be no 1st Saturday with the Saints talk this month.
MAY: No First Saturday with the Saints talk due to Confirmation.
JUNE 6: St. Josemaria Escriva, presented by Marta Pecina
JULY: First Saturday is July 4, so there will be no 1st Saturday with the Saints talk this month.
AUGUST: There will be no First Saturday with the Saints talk in August due to the Parish Festival.

Marta Pecina is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh and Director of the Translational Neuropsychopharmacology and Neuroimaging Lab. is a Supernumerary of Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church founded in Spain in 1928 by St. Josemaria Escriva.
