Regina Coeli Parish is incredibly excited to announce that we are in the midst of a youth group overhaul. After months of praying, planning, and listening to what your teens truly want and need, we are launching a completely rebranded youth group experience built for this generation of teens. Our goal is to create a welcoming, joyful community where teens feel connected, supported, and excited to return each week. What is changing?
We are bringing a new look, new name (Regina Coeli Life Teen), new program, and some fresh ideas and perspective to the table. Our goal is to create an environment designed to be the highlight of your week. Think high-energy games and activities, prizes and give-a-ways, an actual meal, and a space where teens can explore their Catholic faith alongside peers who get them.
One of the biggest changes, however, is teen input. We are not only here to guide them on their faithjourney, but to listen with open minds to what they need to continue their path for Jesus. But rest assured, Life Teen meetings are not just about the Bible. A typical night will be balanced with meaningful discussion, up-beat music, dynamic games, team challenges, and plenty of time to hang out and eat. Building deep, lasting friendships through laughter and fun is just as important as the lessons we discuss.
Below you will find the schedule of events for Sunday evenings at St. John Neumann this fall and the Thursday night board game hangs in the Ministry Room at Assumption School in Bellevue. These hang out nights are low key evenings designed to give teens a break from the every day grind. All 9th-12th graders are invited to join us and bring a friend! I look forward to meeting you all this year!
Peace in Christ,
Mike Shipe,
Director of Youth Ministry
