Bishop Mark Eckman's 2026 Works of Mercy Parish Visits
Bishop Mark is Coming to Listen
In 2026, Bishop Mark Eckman will visit every parish in our Diocese for a special session focused on how we are living the Works of Mercy, the heart of our baptismal call.
These sessions are not meetings or presentations. They are opportunities for Bishop Mark to listen.
He wants to hear how you and your parish are caring for those in need, how these works of mercy have touched your life or the lives of those you serve, and where there may be unmet needs in our community. He also wants to know how the Church can continue to grow in compassion, presence, and service.
What he learns from these sessions will help shape his pastoral vision for the future of the Church of Pittsburgh and identify the opportunities where our Diocese can grow and serve more fruitfully.
All are welcome. You do not need to be involved in a parish ministry to participate. Please join us for prayer, conversation, and a spirit of unity.
